The public is invited to take part in a non-denominational community worship service this Sunday on the grounds of the Redwood County Fair.
The service, which is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m., is held in the entertainment tent.
Redwood Alliance Church, Redwood Falls Assembly of God, Cornerstone Christian Church and the Red-wood Falls Evangelical Free Church are hosting this service.
Tim Dean, pastor at Redwood Alliance Church is going to be speaking with worship led by members from the Redwood Falls Assembly of God Church.
“This service is a gift we are offering to the community,”?said Mike Moser, Cornerstone Christian Church pastor, adding the churches involved want to thank the fair board for giving them the opportunity to provide this worship service.
There is no admission to enter the grounds for the Sunday morning service, but Moser said those who plan to stay at the fair are asked to pay that admission fee.
A special offering is being taken with funds being given to Broken Hearts Ministries – a Christian organization working in Juarez, Mexico. The mission work includes former Redwood Falls residents Vaughn and Angie Krause and their family who serve the people of Juarez.
Moser said the service is intended for all who would like to take part, including those families who are already at the fair and who might not be able to take part in worship services at their regular church because they are away from home.
