There will be a Civil War Commemoration Event at the Redwood County Museum at 913 W. Bridge Street on the western edge of Redwood Falls on Saturday, June 16 from l:00 to 5:00.
The New Ulm Battery is an organized unit of Civil War era artillery horsemen and re-enactors from Minnesota who honor the memory of Civil War Union Artillery veterans and New Ulm Battery veterans through living history and preservation.
Come and see the live presentation and witness five firings of a Civil War Cannon by John Fritsche and New Ulm Battery beginning at 1:00 through 4:30.
Tom Hosier, will do a presentation titled "Pistols used in the Civil War" in the school house behind the museum at 1:30.
