Richard Rohlik, 93, of Wanda, died Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at Springfield Medical Center in Springfield. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, September 24, 2011 at St. Mathias Catholic Church in Wanda. The clergy will be Pastor Todd Petersen.

Richard Rohlik was born to Thomas and Josephine (Bouda) Rohlik January 12, 1918 in Seaforth. He was united in marriage June 14, 1948 to Elaine Jenniges. After his marriage to Elaine he farmed near Wanda. Richard was a member of St. Mathias Catholic Church and the Catholic Order of Foresters. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, reading and everything that grew, walked or flew. Richard E. Rohlik died Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at the Springfield Medical Center in Springfield at the age of 93. Richard is survived by his wife – Elaine of Wanda; children – Daniel Rohlik of Wanda, Joan (Michael) Sinnwell of Niwot, Colo., Barbara (James) Shekleton of New Hampton, Iowa, Arthur (Dawn) Rohlik of Wanda, Patrick (Julie) Rohlik of Wanda, Dennis Rohlik of Wanda, Rita Rohlik of New Ulm, Carolyn Klann of Wanda, Marianne (James) Stoutland of Marshall; 21 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; brother – Donald Rohlik of Gilbert, Ariz. and sister Mary Rohlik of LaCrosse, Wis.   He is preceded in death by his son – Joseph; sisters – Nora and twin sister – Dorothy; brothers – Thomas, George and Clarence (Mike) and son-in-law – Joseph Klann.
