The Redwood Valley girls tennis team continued its strong play with a 6-1 win over visiting Marshall Tuesday afternoon in SWC action.
The Cardinals (10-5) swept all three doubles matches and took 3-of-4 in singles to earn its sixth win in its last seven matches.
Abby Schmidt rolled to a 6-3, 6-0 win at second singles.
Abby Einck and Ahnna Malecek earned a pair of key three-set wins at third and fourt singles respectively.
Einck won 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 and Malecek rallied from down a set to win 4-6, 6-4, 6-1.
In doubles, the standout tandem of Julie Anderson and Callie Hansen won 7-6, 6-3.
Alex Erie and Madison Tholkes rolled to a 6-2, 6-2 win at second doubles and Brooke May and Becca Einck coasted to a 6-2, 6-0 victory.
The Cardinals travel to Worthington today to wrap up the SWC season and visit Litchfield on Monday.
