Robert Lepper, 95, of Redwood Falls and formerly of Holland, Minn. died Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Wood Dale Nursing Home in Redwood Falls. 


 

 


Robert Lepper, 95, of Redwood Falls and formerly of Holland, Minn. died Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Wood Dale Nursing Home in Redwood Falls. 

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. today from First Presbyterian Church in Holland with Pastor Ron Moffitt officiating. Burial will follow in the Holland Cemetery. 

Visitation will be held at the church today from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m.

The family requests memorials be made to First Presbyterian Church in Holland.

Robert Leonard Lepper, the son of Frank and Angeline (Hammond) Lepper, was born August 14, 1914 in Holland, Minn. He grew up in Holland a received his education there.

On August 23, 1939, Robert married Wanda Moffitt in Holland. The couple resided in Holland their entire married life. 

For 56 years, Robert owned and operated Lepper Trucking and was a livestock buyer. 

He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Holland and a member of the Holland Commercial Club. Robert loved his children and grandchildren; holidays were a special time to him. He loved to fish, bowl and play cards. Robert enjoyed cooking and having the neighbors over for “dutch lunch.”

He is survived by his children Marjean (Luther) Larson of Alexandria, Connie (Stu) Skulborstad of Apple Valley and David (Jean) Lepper of Redwood Falls; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and his sister Evelyn Allen of Lake Havasu City, Ariz. 

Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda, May 11, 2007; five brothers and six sisters.
