The Redwood Valley boys hockey team continued its winning ways with recent victories over Worthington and LeSeuer/Henderson-St. Peter.
Tuesday night the Cardinals travelled to Worthington and dominated the Trojans on the way to a 5-0 victory.
With the win the Cardinals made it 11 straight victories and maintained its lead atop the SWC standings at 7-1.
The win also keeps the Cardinals atop the Section 3A standings where they remain in strong contention for a number one seed in the playoffs.
Against the Trojans (2-10), Mike Welch and Eric Hanson scored first period goals to put the Cardinals up 2-0.
In the second period, Jordan Skeie found the net twice, and Austin Kretsch capped things off in the third with a goal.
Keenan Hartmann and Eric Miller both had two assists, while Brennen Sandgren and Jake Hansen each had one.
Goalie John Rebstock earned his 12th victory of the season with a 16 save shutout effort.
The Cards outshot the Trojans 41-16.

Saturday night the Cardinals made the trek to St. Peter and came away with a solid 6-3 win over LH/St. Peter.
A strong first period set the tone in this one as Colin Bailey scored on a power play goal at the 6:26 mark to put the Cards up 1-0.
Erik Lyrvall would add a goal just 1:27 later, and Miller would also find the net to give the Cards a 3-1 lead after one period of play.
Brett Amberg would score the lone second period goal, and Nick?Schmidt would put the game away with two goals in the third.
Hanson finished with two assists, while Miller and Amberg each had one.
The Cardinals outshot LH/St. Peter  53-14, and Rebstock earned the win with 11 saves.
The Cardinals travel to Luverne Saturday before returning home to face Marshall/Lakeview Tuesday in a key SWC/Section match-up.
